Measuring and Analyzing Social Media Metrics

When all is said and done and all content has been publish on the social media then comes the measuring and analyzing part of it all. Its very important to track your activity on social media because if you don't, you will never know if the content your creating is working. Study shows that over 45% of organizations don't track their social media ROI. There is so much metrics to look at such as views, reaches, mentions, follows, likes, impressions, and engagement of the social media platforms. These metrics must be checked on a weekly and monthly basis to determine any changes that needs to be made.

One of the most significant measure to track is engagement. Engagement metrics track how much users interact with your organization and your content. There are many factors that effect the engagement metric for example finding the right demographic. Also, content posted on social media must be strategically designed so that you can receive higher results on the engagement metric. There are many more factors for this measurement.

Another important measurement to track is reaches as it focuses on the audience growth rate. The benefit of this is that it directly connects social media data with business profits. It also measures how social media conversations can spread. Their is also another metrics the deals with measuring who is talking about your brand and their impact on the organizations media. This metric is known as Influence. Influence tracks who exactly you can count on to be influential on your page. Not everyone that is on a page can actually encourage others to do anything for the page. There are several tools such as Klout, PeerIndex or Kinetic Influence that will allow you to see who your Influencers are.

Also another important metric is Share of Voice. This metric allows you to know how well you are doing on social media compared to your competitors. Then, the organization can compare their results to that of their competitors and see if any changes might need to be made. This can also show you the emphasis of how well you are using the 80/20 rule. How much the organization focuses on its brand or on the engagement of other people's content.

All these measurements are essential specifically for the success of Kingdom Kids International as these measurements aim to focus on its goals.

Creating a content strategy

Creating a content strategy for Kingdom Kids is very important and necessary as it will better organize how they will execute their strategy and who on their team will be handling and managing their content. A content plan, when used properly, will cause them to reach their target audience.

According to my studies, research is a very effectual monitoring tool to use when developing a content marketing strategy. This tool allows you to search keywords automatically to see who is talking about you. It also allows you to stay up to date on News from Far Away. This would be used effectively as the organization could keep track of every popular news happening in Haiti and create content from that. Other ways to create a great content strategy is to draft as many topical ideas that would reflect the tone and the style of the organization. Once the ideas are collected, the organization can then publish, promote and track every post and also include a SEO element to improve the Google rankings.

However, before doing all that, it is necessary for the organization to create a form of editorial calendar.  This editorial calendar can help create a concrete plan for when to post the content. One thing that is also important to define is finding when the best time to post content on social media is. In my research, it talked about how there are different times in which to post on the various social media. The best days in the week to publish content on Facebook is typically from 1 to 4 p.m. late into the week and on weekends.

According to research, in the early afternoon at 1 p.m. will get you the most shares, while 3 p.m. will get you the most clicks. A great tool to make this possible is through the Facebook Analytics which helps track several different key performance indicators on the Facebook pages. This will permit for the organization to find the best time to reach their unique audience. For twitter, the best time would be the optimal times to tweet are from 12 to 5 p.m. During the workweek is the best time but at times the weekend may also be a good time. Twitter increases the retweets and the click-throughs. Instagram's analytics here shows that the best time to post content would be on Mondays, with a decrease on Sunday. The general times where the audience is engaged varies. The times would be scattered throughout the day late afternoon.

These tools have been found to be very effective when creating a content marketing strategy. I believe that these are these are the best methods for Kingdom Kids to utilize to see improvement on their brand and overall ministry.
